SPECIFIC RECRUITMENT:

The following is a list of specific jobs we are currently recruiting for. Most of them require a degree level or professional qualification plus two years experience:

Occupational Therapy Tutor (General and Psychiatry)
Moshi, Tanzania (2 positions) - T1
- To ensure continuous curriculum development to meet the needs of students at Tumaini University and ensure it is relevant. Improve the mental health component of the course and develop teaching resources.

Occupational Therapist Support Fieldworkers
Several Locations, Tanzania - T2
- Working in a peripatetic role to be a professional mentor by providing a reference point for the locally trained Occupational Therapists in agreed locations within Tanzania.

Community Health Trainer (2 positions)
Arusha Region, Tanzania - T3
- To work as part of the Action Health Team in collaboration with the District Health Management Team to promote Mother and Child Healthcare in the community by training and supporting staff within targeted Primary Health Care Units, training traditional healers and raising community awareness.

Occupational Therapy Tutor
Kampala, Uganda - U1
- To develop the OT profession and strengthen existing Community Rehabilitation structures by training students at the newly established Occupational Therapy Training School.

Occupational Therapists
Uganda (2 positions) - U2/3
- To strengthen Community Rehabilitation structures by assisting students to set up OT units at district hospitals and services in the community.

Community Health Trainer
MASS, Orissa, India - I5
- To work with MASS staff and community representatives to implement the recommendations of the needs assessment of the project area and to train staff and community representatives in identifying and responding to common health risks and problems.
