All One Team
Are you a post-placement development worker? We would love to hear your views on Skillshare International activities that you are/were involved with, other than your placement.
Staff and development workers (current and post-placement) are being given the chance to have their say about how development workers engage in Skillshare International's work beyond their actual placements (development awareness, campaigns, publicity, contributing to dw selection and training, programme development, fund-raising, etc). Feedback and ideas will be collected in the first two weeks of Febraury 2008 through an online survey and the results will help us build 'all one team' of staff and development workers to work on social change.
Elaine Stevenson, who is coordinating the 'all one team' task force explains, "Development workers, both during and after their placements, are key to achieving our aims and we need to increase their engagement with Skillshare International."
The confidential survey, which has been emailed to staff and development workers (current and post-placement), is also available as a Word document which can be emailed or faxed back to Elaine. She adds, "there aren't too many questions so it should take no longer than 10 minutes and the feedback is crucial for us to learn about how we are doing, and what we need to do differently." A report on the findings and recommendations will be available after March 2008.
If you have not received an email asking you to complete a survey, then we do not have your current email address. We would be extremely grateful if you would complete our current online survey.
We would also be very grateful if you would send your current email address to Jenny Dunn at jenny.dunn@skillshare.org. |
