Module one: Developing personal leadership and vision
This is the first module of our standard programme. The programme focuses on developing strategic competence and personal leadership skills. It introduces participants to an understanding of their role as leaders in an organisation and in their personal lives, and provides an opportunity to develop their personal management style and skills.
This module will help you to:
- Understand your leadership, and how your current leadership style has developed.
- Understand and apply leadership from a transformational leader’s perspective
- Develop and apply a range of key leadership behaviours and skills.
- Understand organisations from a systems perspective rather than the more traditional hierarchical approach.
Module two: Achieve excellence in your organisation’s performance - enabling continual process improvement
The most effective way to improve business performance is to improve the way things get done. Our work, supporting process improvement, can help you and your team to appreciate the need for improvement to be strategic and continual, allowing you to systematically work on the processes that deliver your aims to your customers, beneficiaries and stakeholders.
This module enables you to:
- appreciate the need for improvement to be strategic and continual
- enable adoption of a proven approach to systematic continual process improvement.
- take part in, or lead, effective improvement teams that share knowledge
- Appreciate the fundamental importance of listening to customers.
Module three: Reposition your organisation for change - enabling transformation
Our work in this area takes the systems thinking approach up to a higher level enabling leaders and leadership teams and organisations to better understand the context in which their organisations exist and what they have to do in order to re-position themselves to meet the challenges, both internal and external, that are being constantly presented in a very dynamic environment
This module will help you to:
- Developing a deeper understanding of the needs of your customers, beneficiaries and stakeholders.
- Exploring how external drivers impact on your organisation.
- Building a shared vision for the future.
- Identifying the strategic repositioning needs of your organisation.
- Identifying improvement strategies and actions you can take forward
